Welcome to the Thames High School website. Our vision “to inspire learning and develop the whole person” is encouraged through school-wide teaching and learning initiatives. Opportunities are provided for students to participate in a wide range of co-curricular activities such as sports, drama, music, production and kapa haka roopu.
Thames High School was established in 1880 and it has a proud tradition of student achievement. Former students contribute in many areas of the community – academically, in a variety of leadership roles, in a range of professions, as sporting champions and as musical performers. Thames High School is proud of what we offer, and of the achievements of our students.
